AC Repair and Installation
AC repair
We find out why your AC isn't working, explain what we found in plain English, and give you your options before any work starts. Repairs come with our 90-day warranty.
AC installation and replacement
If your system is old, keeps breaking down, or the repair doesn't make sense anymore, we also install new air conditioning systems. We'll look at your home and current setup and go over options with you.
Ductless mini-splits
We also repair and install ductless mini-split systems. They heat and cool without ductwork, which can suit additions, garages or rooms that never get comfortable.
Signs Your AC Needs a Repair
What to watch for
- The air from the vents is warm or barely cool
- The outdoor unit isn't running, or it runs but the house never cools down
- Ice on the copper lines or the indoor coil
- Water around the indoor unit
- New buzzing, grinding or rattling noises
- The system turns on and off over and over
- The breaker keeps tripping
Quick checks before you call
Make sure the thermostat is set to Cool and below room temperature, check the breaker, and check the air filter. If it's dirty, replace it. If you see ice, turn the system off and let it thaw; running it frozen can make things worse. Then call us.
Have a heat pump? Many homes use a heat pump. It cools in summer and heats in winter, and we work on those too. See furnace & heat pump repair.
